The diet you take plays a very important role in your brain power. The strength of your memory and brain depends on the food you intake in your daily routine. You must have food that gives the required nutrition to your brain.

Blueberries have many health benefits for your brain. Antioxidants in blueberries improve the communication between brain cells.
Turmeric improves memory in people with Alzheimer’s.
You can also go for broccoli, dark chocolates, nuts, oranges, green tea, eggs, etc. to have a sharp memory.
2. Proper Hydration
It’s not just your eating habits that affect your memory but also the level of your water intake to your body. You can just call water as a brain tonic. Our brain is 73% water and only 2% dehydration can weaken your memory, attention, and other mental abilities. You must take at least 8 glasses of water daily to keep your body and brain healthy.
3. Less Use of GPS
It’s quite a common practice that we use GPS whenever we get confused about the routes. But we are not aware of the fact that these technologies are making our brain weak and lazy. It destroys our various mental skills and thus weakens our memory power. So, try to not use GPS every time you get stuck in routes or at least reduce the use.
4. Learn New Languages
Learning a new language can really help you boost Your Memory Power. You must involve yourself in learning a second language. It will not only boost your memory power but also improve your self-confidence. If you already know the second language, it’s a plus point. Speaking a second language keeps your mind active and protects your memory.
5. Play Brain Games
Play some brain training games or get involved in mentally challenging exercises to enhance your memory and thinking ability. By playing brain games you can easily train your brain to strengthen your memory.
6. Proper Sleep
Your poor memory can be a result of lack of sleep. Sleep plays a very important role in memory consolidation. Consolidation is a process in which short-term memories are strengthened and transformed into long-lasting memories. It is recommended to have 7-9 hrs. of sleep daily to maintain your mental strength and memory power.
7. Meditation
Practice meditation as it is scientifically proven to increase focus and memory. Because when you can easily focus your mind, you can make your memory strong. It relaxes your mind and helps you reduce stress, pain, and lower blood pressure.
8. Maintain Your Weight
Maintaining a perfect weight is extremely necessary if you want to maintain your wellbeing and keep your mental physical health fine. It has been proved that obesity can be a risk factor to your memory power. Obesity can also lead to insulin resistance and inflammation, both of which can negatively impact the brain. So, it’s quite obligatory to maintain your weight.
9. Exercise
Regular exercising encourages your brain to work at optimum capacity. It stimulates your nerve cells to multiply, strengthening their interconnections and protecting them from damage.
10. Avoid Multitasking
I know that every day and each minute is precious and you have to accomplish a lot of tasks within it. But when you are trying to focus on more than one task, you are ultimately calling a negative impact on your brain and memory power. So, please complete each and every task mindfully and avoid multitasking. You will see the results in few days.
Your memory power is the most essential thing you will need to accomplish your tasks. It’s not that difficult to regain your mental health. Just go with the above tips and add them to daily habits. You will surely see the results.
